As we line our downtown landscape for parades, fire up the grill, and gather beneath the dark sky for fireworks displays, let us remember the sacrifices so many have made to protect our God-given freedoms. We are a blessed nation to be able to worship in freedom, to speak out the truths in freedom, and to elect our officials in peace.
