A New Look & Function to the Blog!

The WUPC blog has added a Google calendar to help you keep track of all the various events going on in and around the church.  The calendar is located directly below the most recent blog post.  Hold your cursor over an event to get more details, such as location, description, or additional details.  If you already have a Google calendar of your own, you can add our events to your own by clicking on the "Add to My Calendar link.

You can also now share these blog posts on Google Buzz, Facebook, Twitter, your own blog,or through email, by clicking on the respective icon below.

Date Night this Saturday

Send the kids to the sitter's and spend some quality time with your dearie in the company of your brothers and sisters.  We'll play a round of mini-golf at Tri-Way's in Plymouth, followed by a trip to Pizza Hut in Plymouth.

Kids Day Camp 2010: Summer Enrichment Program

June 28-30
9:00am-2:00pm daily

Monday: health and safety games and activities, then a trip to the South Bend Fire Dept.

Tuesday: C & B Optical One.  tour the lab to see how eyeglasses are made, get a free eye screening, and learn about optical health

Wednesday: Potato Creek State Park: Presentation and nature hike with a park Naturalist!  Explore the nature center, go fishing, play! 

Registration is $40.  Children of the same household family are an additional $12 each.  Fee includes admission to all events and activities, a t-shirt, lunch, snacks, and drinks.

Register at the Walkerton United Pentecostal Church or the Walkerton Library.  We are limited to the first 50 applicants, so don't dealy.  Ages are for those who have completed  a year of Kindergarten-those who have completed a year of 6th grade.  This event is put on by adults who want to have a quality education experience available to our community at an affordable price.

This week Ian received the Holy Ghost and he was baptized in Jesus Name on Sunday night!  We're proud of you, Bro. Ian!  God has great plans for you!

8 & 9 Year-Old Campers and Dorm Supervisors

A large group of kids headed down south to Fortville Indiana Campgrounds this past week for Sunday School Camp.  Many of them won ribbons for athletic events, too!  You can tell we've got "aisel runners" in our church!  We're proud of them!

New, fun summer program begins this Sunday!

The Sunday School department will be shaking things up with a new format for the summer, beginning this Sunday, June 13.  Students will now be secret agents!  They'll be learning bible stories, making crafts, eating fun snacks, and playing games, surrounded by all the teachers and all the students, for the remainder of the summer!  Bring a friend and jump in!
