Congratulations to Pastor Smith & the Walkerton Church!

Recently Pastor Smith was awarded and recognized for his efforts and dedication to the apprenticeship of Indiana Bible College students into the local Walkerton church. On several occasions students from the college have come to be a part of the music, preaching, worship, Sunday School teaching, and general outreach within the church and community. With each visit, both the church body and IBC students have been stirred in the heart and the flame of revival has been fanned.

During the graduation commencement the college spoke of the irony of IBC students' eagerness to visit such a small town and small church, in relative comparison to larger communities and churches that were available.

We are thankful for all God has done, is doing, and is going to do in Walkerton and we are thankful for a Pastor who has been the leader that he is!

Sis. Smith spoke to us about weaving ribbons of blue into the fringes of our clothing, as they did in the old testment to remind them to serve the Lord with all of their hearts. We each took home a blue ribbon to remember.

Join the mothers, dughters, sisters, friends, of the Walkerton UPC ladies this Saturday for an evening of siserly fellowship, food, and fun. Our WUPC First Lady, Sis. Smith will be speaking!

The day started with prayer and a rally, reminding each of us of the biblical call to preach the gospel to every creature.

This blue guy came along, and stole a lot attention.
